Herbal Tinctures

Herbal Tinctures

Herbal tinctures are concentrated liquid herbal extracts, which are created by soaking herbs and plants in alcohol for several weeks to extract the active ingredients. Once the herbs and plants have been soaked in the alcohol, the tincture is strained to remove the herb and plant pieces, then bottled. Herbal tinctures can come from a single ingredient, or from a blend of ingredients. One common type of tincture is adaptogenic tinctures. Adaptogens are considered to be healing plants.
